AFAIK, there's already a PPC32on64 port; does that not work for you?

Unfortunately not, sorry, to be more specific,
it is about the support for ELFv2 ABI (Power8 and LE).

Unfortunately not, sorry, to be more specific,
it is about the support for ELFv2 ABI (Power8 and LE).
Little endian is not a problem. The v2 ABI differences are relatively
small. I have not yet used one of these machines, do they still ship with
32 bit support? If they do then the v2 ABI changes should be relatively
easy.

It would be nice if IBM sponsored a ppc64 port...
